The Origin
Three years on the other side.
Before Roch&Val existed, we spent three years selling sunglasses across Europe under a different name. We were at the trade shows. We knew the suppliers. We understood exactly how the margins worked.
And what we saw didn't sit right with us.
The Problem
€8 frames. €180 price tags.
The eyewear industry runs on one principle: obscure the real cost, inflate the perceived value. Vague claims about "premium materials." No specs, no transparency, no honest answer to the question every customer deserves to ask — why does this cost what it costs?
We were part of that system. We knew it was broken. So we left it.
